RUSSIAN TEACAKES

   This recipe is another favorite of my children.  For the past couple of years, I have been baking cookies for my families.   I feel it is more rewarding and is a better reflection of my love for them.

1 C margarine, softened

1/2 C powdered sugar

1 t vanilla

2 1/4 C all-purpose flour

1/4 t salt

3//4 C finely chopped nuts

powdered sugar

Heat oven to 400 degrees.  Mix margarine, 1/2 C powdered sugar and the vanilla.  Stir in flour, salt, and nuts.  Shape dough into 1 inch balls.  Place on ungreased cookie sheet.  Bake until set but not brow, 8 to 9 minutes.  Roll in powdered sugar while warm;  cool.  ROLL IN POWDERED SUGAR AGAIN.   about 4 dozen cookies
