BELL PEPPERS

   Bell peppers, also known as green peppers.  Are you aware that green peppers have different genders?  There are male peppers and female peppers.  How can you tell them apart?  The same way you tell people apart:  look at their bottom sides!  The female peppers have four bumps and the males have three.  Who knew?

   The female peppers are sweeter and are better for eating raw.  They also have more seeds.  The male peppers are better for cooking.  

   How many of us are going to be flipping those peppers over the next time we go shopping?
