CHOCOLATE NUTELLA COOKIE RECIPE
1 1/2 C. unsalted butter, room temperature
3/4 C. brown sugar
3/4 C. sugar
1 C. Nutella
2 eggs
1/2 t. vanilla
2 C. + 2 T. all-purpose flour
1/4 C unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 t baking soda
1/2 t salt
1 C. chocolate chips
1/2 C chopped hazelnuts
Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each. Add vanilla and mix thoroughly again.
In a separate bowl, whisk flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt until there are no lumps. Mix into the butter mixture until fully incorporated. Add the chocolate chips and hazelnuts and refrigerate the dough for ten minutes.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. while the dough is chilling.
Drop cookie dough by tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes. Allow to cool on the sheets for a minute or two before transferring to a wire rack to finish cooling.
Makes about 6 dozen cookies.
